Gennaro Faiola joined Solstice at Auburn three years ago as the director of Sales and Marketing. In January of 2018, he was promoted to executive director. Gennaro has a passion for working with seniors and their families to find the ideal living solution that meets their needs and goals. In fact, he worked with seniors in financial services for 17 years prior to joining Solstice Senior Living. At Auburn, Gennaro believes that everyone from 1 to 101 should live life vibrantly!
Gennaro lives in Folsom, California, with his wife, Maureen, of 25 years, three teenage children and three dogs. Gennaro and his family are active within their community. They enjoy attending church, volunteering, the outdoors, music and the arts. Gennaro is an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Bianca Wright joined the Solstice at Auburn team in March 2018. She graduated from California State University–Sacramento with a marketing-focused business degree. She has worked in independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing for over 15 years. Since her mother was a nurse and a veteran, serving others seemed like a natural path for Bianca. Bianca is a newlywed and lives in Folsom, California, with her wonderful husband, four dogs, turtle and parakeet.
Building Services Director
Rod Brunkhorst has worked in the building industry since he was 18 years old. As the building services director, Rod has been a consistent, reassuring presence at Solstice at Auburn for more than eight years. Rod enjoys the outdoors. He loves to hunt, fish and cut firewood. Rod has a beautiful wife named Eileen, three dogs and one cat.
Business Office Director
After retiring from state service as a senior programmer analyst in 2014, Lori Hull started her second career in the senior living industry. As business office director at Solstice at Auburn, it is Lori’s obligation to see that both the residents and staff are treated with dignity and respect. She works diligently alongside her fellow directors to enhance the lives of the residents. Lori embraces the company culture – “have fun and work hard!” Lori’s credentials include an Administrator’s Certificate (RCFE) and a Master of Business Administration degree, along with degrees in gerontology and criminal justice. When she is not working, Lori enjoys gardening and canning. She also volunteers with Make-A-Wish and Hospice.
Vibrant Life Director
Cathleen Sommer has worked as the Vibrant Life director for more than seven years. Her residents have become her extended family, and she considers spending time with them her favorite part of the job. Before working with seniors, Cathleen was a mentor coordinator with junior high and high school students. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, playing golf, watching movies, and summer softball.
